Museum of Chinese in America

Founded in 1980 as a community-based organization, Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) has celebrated the living history of the Chinese experience in America by preserving and presenting the 200-year history, heritage, culture, and diverse experiences of American communities of Chinese descent.

MOCA no longer requires proof of vaccination. Masks are required for all visitors age 2 and over.

All out-of-state visitors must follow all applicable health and safety protocols required by the New York state COVID-19 Travel Advisory, which may include quarantine.

Timed Ticket Entry

No reservations are needed, visitors simply need to show up during open hours as listed below:
Monday - Tuesday: CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. SCHOOL & TOUR GROUPS ONLY
Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday: 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Friday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 - 6:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 - 4:00 PM
