About This Exhibit

The World's Fair Collection features more than 900 items selected from our 1939–40 and 1964–65 World Fair memorabilia collection. The Museum building was born as the New York City Building and was the official pavilion of the city for both World Fairs. Millions of visitors passed through its doors to see exhibitions promoting the achievements of the city.
